Brooke the Cat

As you may or may not know, here at Brookdale Pet Center, we have a resident cat named Brooke. She is our four-legged greeter and our feline ambassador!

Brooke came into our lives when one of our customers rescued her, her mother and her brother from behind a perfume factory when she was only a kitten. And from the moment we met Brooke, we fell in love! She is the sweetest cat you will ever meet! She does have the occasional nasal congestion from the perfume factory, but other than that, her stray days are long behind her!

Stop by and meet her. Even self proclaimed "dog-people" have a fondness of Brooke. She is a very affectionate cat who is gentle with even the wildest children and her favorite pasttimes include playing with her wand toy or giving people hugs.

Brooke's diet consists of Natures Variety Raw Frozen food (why her coat is so soft!), Petite Cuisine canned food (her new favorite), EVO dry (she never resists), and the occasional Wellness pouch. We believe that variety in an animal's diet is the best way to keep them healthy and, since cats can be so finicky, she seems to enjoy the variety! We also add some Shed-X to her food to keep her coat healthy and to reduce seasonal shedding. Brooke also regularly devours any flavor of EVO cat treats or feline Greenies.

Her daily beauty regime consists of having her teeth brushed, a small bite of Laxatone to prevent and eliminate hairballs and a Brewers Yeast tablet to ward off pesky bugs. She also receives lots of petting and the occasional brushing.
